The LIFE 8100 proved to be the most technologically advanced and efficient of the under counter machines that we tested. The LIFE 8100 is the under counter version of the LIFE 7600 and produces exactly the same so if you are deciding between an under counter or counter top unit it really just comes down to personal preference. Having just the 8100 faucet on your sink instead of the entire machine does make usage very convenient and aesthetically looks a lot better as well. The other plus of this machine is that you can actually detach the unit from under your sink and use it as a counter top unit if you were to travel. The LIFE 8100 comes with a lifetime warranty on all parts and 5 years full coverage on labor, so in our opinion just like the 7600 you are getting a lot for your money.

Overall the LIFE 7600 proved to be the most technologically advanced and efficient machine that we tested. We liked the fact that they offer both flat and true MESH plates as well as an optional UV disinfecting light to kill off bacteria. This machine proved to be very strong and was able to reach very high pH settings as well as consistently low ORP readings. LIFE does charge slightly more for MESH plates and the UV light, however, the machine is already reasonably priced at $1997.00 since it is sold through direct sales and not an MLM (multi level marketing). Each LIFE machine that is purchased comes with a custom pre-filter based on the water in the area the machine is to be used. This proves very helpful to reduce contaminants and/or calcium build up in hard water areas. LIFE also is the only company with a layer in their internal filters that takes out chloramines (chlorine + ammonia) which is found in 30% of municipal water sources. Also, to top that off you have a lifetime warranty on all parts and 5 years full coverage on labor, so in our opinion you are getting a lot for your money with the LIFE 7600.
