Our goal is to objectively examine the different alkaline water ionizers on the market. This allows us to assist the public by providing information so that they may make an educated decision in choosing the correct system for their needs.

Finding the Facts
Each company had their own story about how their alkaline water ionizer was best. The majority of the brands provide alkaline water and some level of ORP (the level of anti-oxidants). The differences were:
- the range of pH (alkaline and acidic) produced
- the type of power system
- the level of ORP (anti-oxidants) attainable
- the filter system
- the number of plates
- the features
- the company’s history

Testing the Ionizers
Our research included reading all the materials from the main companies, but we made the decision to test the different company’s alkaline water ionizers with our own equipment. The best way to do this was to test the top end model that each of the manufacturers or distributors were selling. Our technicians used quality testing systems to provide you with useful data.

Reviewing the Features
This was the interesting part of our project. Almost all units had the basics like auto-cleaning; LED displays; sensors; multiple pH settings and so forth.
